I have used Shinn Roofing in the past, quite satisfactorily, and when my Poconos home needed a new roof there was no doubt who I would hire: Shin Roofing. John and his wife Chris were very accommodating to me, helping to get permits and such from my HOA as I am an absentee owner. I received a fair quote for my roof replacement and pictures before, during and after the job was completed. Chris was constantly in touch with me advising when John would be able to replace my roof, as snow and inclement weather impeded the starting date. In summation, these are class people who do a wonderful job! You can hire Shinn Roofing with complete confidence!!

John was a straight shooter, he explained everything clearly and gave great advice. He showed up on time with his team and got the job done without any problems 👍🏾👍🏾.

John and his team tore off our existing and replaced our entire roof as well as 2 skylights. He also fixed a number of flashing issues they came across. I found them dependable , reliable and they did excellent work. I highly recommend them.

They did a great job. My new roof is beautiful. They were professional and courteous. They came bright and early in the morning and got the job done. They went over and above. The new roof looks very sharp and sleek. John and his team did an excellent job, they tore off the existing roof, installed the UHDZ shingles, and cleaned-up the site in one day. I am very impressed with the warranty of the product and the fact that it is wind and algae resistant.

John and Chris are an absolute pleasure to do business with. We were in a rough position financially and we're not planning on a roof replacement, they were HONEST about what actually needed to be done, thorough with checking everything and even worked with us to make sure we would be able to do what needed to be done and stay in budget. They did an amazing job replacing our roof and when they left the property, if it wasn't for their sign and a beautiful new roof, you never would have known they were here to begin with. They are respectful of your property and if you DON'T need something done, they will tell you its not needed. I 💯 recommend them a thousand times over and we WILL be calling them back when needed in the future

The initial job called for re-flashing and re-shingling our roof, and replacing our skylight. However, John and his crew went the extra mile by pulling up some of the plywood, which revealed that most of it needed to be replaced.

I am so glad I went with Shinn Roofing, as I'm sure there are plenty of companies out there that would have just shingled right over our compromised plywood and moved onto the next job.

Being that this is a vacation home and we are a 3-hour roundtrip away, John and Chris were very attentive to the need of supplying us with photos throughout the process.
