John M. Shinn Roofing is one of the leading roofing contractors in North East PA. John M. Shinn Roofing was formed by John Shinn in 2002, with the vision of providing top quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Since our inception we have thousands of satisfied customers across the Pocono region and surrounding Northeast PA areas.
Doing the job correctly is always our first priority. From the moment you contact Shinn Roofing you will deal directly with John and Christine Shinn. John or Chris will go over product options, job details (as every job is different), scheduling and answer any questions you have directly. During your roof installation, John is personally on every roof with our crew, while Chris is in the office communicating with you and forwarding images throughout the day (if you are not available to physically be there on the day of installation).

We use only high quality materials, backed by industry leading warranties. Materials produced by industry leaders such as GAF, Velux skylights Certainteed, Firestone, Carlisle, Everlast, James Hardie, Mastic, Owens Corning, Alcoa, Air Vent…just to name few.
There are no pushy sales tactics, and we will only recommend products and options that make sense for your particular situation and budget. The real world performance of roofing and siding products can vary greatly among different companies. If we wouldn’t put it on our own home or business, we will not recommend it to you.
We install roofing, siding, skylights and seamless gutters that are expected to last anywhere from 30 to 50 years and beyond (dependent on the product). The details of the installation is what separates installations that last as long as they should from those that fail prematurely. At John M. Shinn Roofing, we are all about those details.
